Myofascial Release - specifics
Myofascial Release is a clinical technique that addresses soft tissue barriers within the body.  These barriers form as a result of trauma, inflammation, or overuse.  They frequently cause pain, nerve involvement, lymphatic blockages, and/or illness.  The technique is non-invasive, gentle, and focuses on treating the body as a whole.  Emphasis is on long-lasting results.

Traditional therapy programs often address the symptoms but not the cause of the dysfunction.  Immediate results therefore tend to be favorable but lasting changes within the body structure are often not obtained.  Frequently the initial complaint returns to some degree after therapy sessions are terminated.  Encompass Therapy, LLC utilizes myofascial release as a primary technique in order to address musculoskeletal dysfunction and promote long-lasting functional changes.  Other complimentary techniques and education are included for optimal results.
